Condolence From: Lori Harris Curlee
Condolence: October 31, 2016
I just heard today of the passing of Mrs. Hollis. She holds a very dear place in my heart as I spent most of my days playing with Lisa, Jamie, and Greg at her house. I remember how kind and patient she was with us even though I can only imagine how loud and raucous we must have been. She always cooked homemade biscuits and later in the day when we needed a snack we would put mustard in them and they would become the famous mustard biscuits. Mrs. Hollis was an amazing hard working loving wife, mother and example of unselfishness. I will miss sending and receiving Christmas cards with her this year. I know she is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and heaven is sweeter because she is there! Lori Harris Curlee

Condolence: To the entire Hollis Family
My heart weeps with yours today as I've learned of the Homegoing of on amazing woman. I never knew her by any other name than Mrs. Hollis. As large as her family was this wonderful woman always had room for one more. I first met her in Sept. 1973 when I became friends with her daughter, Barbara and son Eugene, but with old southern hospitality I didn't just step into a strangers house, I stepped into a "Families Home" and was welcomed with open arms and hearts. So for 43 years this one woman has loved not only her own but all of those she pulled into her circle and I can tell you that if she smiled on you, you better believe it was given with every bit of love in her little body. My love and prayers are going up now for the God of all comfort to wrap HIS Loving Arms around each and everyone of you and know that with your Mothers last breath here her next one was with Jesus.
