Heflin - Peggy Sue Crowson, 57, died Sunday, May 17, 2020 .
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sonny Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Mother - Minnie Lee McCormick, Heflin, AL
Daughter - Heather(Jason) Waddell, Heflin, AL
Son - Chris(Anina Davis) Crowson, Cedartown , GA
Son - Adam(Casey) Crowson, Heflin, AL
Fiance- Darnell Bedford
Sister - Reba Broach
Brother - Eugene McCormick
Brother - Gary McCormick
Brother - Pud Burgess
Grandchildren - Madison Crowson, Jayden Waddell, Ragyn, Ellie, & Korie Crowson
Pallbearers will be Jon McCormick, Josh McCormick, Andy McCormick, Dusten Prince, Paul Broach and Jason Waddell.
Jayden Waddell will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Peggy was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. Peggy was very active in her church, Calvary Baptist Church where she served as Choir Director, pianist and VBS Director. She was employed at Physicians Care in Oxford for over 20 years. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene McCormick.

I’m so sorry to hear this I remember Peggy from school and riding our bus as kids. Praying for the family.
