Heflin - Michael Jerry "Hootie" Harlan, 55, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at His Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. B.F. Coefield, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mother - Sarah Harlan
Father - Jerry Ross Harlan
Sister - Cathy (Jeff) Moore
Niece - Casey Moore
Special Friend - Ann Rutledge and her daughter, Nicole
Pallbearers will be: Scott Dennis, Michael Morrison, Kenneth Owen, Grady Blanton, Wade Skinner, Joey Hollingsworth, Bobby Rutledge, Gary Sprayberry, Tim Boyd, and Rex Nolen.
Michael was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and was employed by L. E. Bell Construction. Michael enjoyed cattle sales, spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otus and Florence Harlan and W. O. and Maurine Brown.
