Heflin - Velma Lemurle Hill, 99, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Cox, officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Randolph County and a resident of Cleburne County most of her life and a member of Union Hill Methodist Church in Randolph County. Velma was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Onward "O.D." Hill, a sister, Ruth McClendon, and brother, John Benton Rice.
