Ranburne - Nellie Sue McCord, 75, died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at her daughters residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Mcginnis, Rev. Chad Burdette,and Rev. Donald Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Susan (Darrell) Hammond, Heflin, AL
Son - David (Brenda) McCord, Ranburne, AL
Son - Charles (Celia) McCord, Ranburne, AL
Sister - Billie Ruth Skinner, Ranburne, AL
Brother - J. W. Otwell, Ranburne, AL
Six Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren
Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. McCord was a native and life long resident of Cleburne County Alabama, and member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles McCord,Sr.
,parents, L.W. and Ruth Otwell, one sister and two brothers. In Lieu of
flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
