Williams Jerry Fuller Sr., born February 5, 1945, was called home June 16, 2020. “PawPaw,” as he was lovingly known by most everyone, was a kind, loving, and hard-working man. He never met a stranger. It was rare to ever see PawPaw without a smile. Back in 1988, he became a founding member of the Upper Cane Creek Fire Department where he served as the Fire Chief for 32 years. He loved being a servant to his community, and he took great pride in the job that was done and those that worked with him. He would say “We can’t save them all” it is only “important that we always give our best.” PawPaw lived his life to the fullest. He loved his wife and was proud of his boys and his family. He enjoyed doing back flips from the diving board, fishing, and cutting grass. Our dad may not have been born to a large family, he may not have ever met his birth parents, but Jerry Fuller knew how to love the family he made. There are not enough words to say how much PawPaw will be missed. He cannot be replaced. Our community has suffered a great loss of a great servant.

William Jerry Fuller Sr. was husband to Jeanette and father to Jerry Jr. (Joyce) Fuller, James (Julie) Fuller, and Joe (Lori) Fuller. He was grandfather to Jordan (Tiffany), Jerriann (Benton), Jaycob (Jasmine), Luke (Amanda), Jackson, Alyssa, Jacie, and Jett Fuller. He was great grandfather to Dani Rose, Dylan Rose, Aiden, Jaylynn, and baby Jayson. PawPaw was preceded in death by his parents, James Methin and Mildred Fuller, and great grandchildren Ella Rose, William James, and Baby J.

Pallbearers will be: Jordan Fuller, Jaycob Fuller, Luke Fuller, Jackson Fuller, Kenny Echols, Randy Edwards and Keith Berry.
