Heflin - Veronica Campbell was born on May 18, 1945 and earned her wings on December 1, 2019. Veronica grew up in Blue Mountain, AL. She married the love of her life, Kenneth "YoYo" Campbell on February 9, 1968 and enjoyed their life together raising their two sons. They moved to Heflin in 1989 and drove trucks together for many years traveling all over the US. They belonged to GWRRA and held numerous positions in their district. Veronica never met a stranger and loved her family. Veronica is survived by her sons, Robert Pate and Rebel Campbell, daughter, Leigh(Robert) Ficklen, grandchildren, Zac Pate, Corey Pate, Sabrina Rucker and Sarah Winn, and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Lena Pate, sister, Kathryn Stormes and her beloved spouse, Kenneth "YoYo" Campbell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Dryden Funeral Home. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
