Heflin - Travis Elbert Williams (known to friends and family as Bo) was born June 3, 1951. He passed away at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA on October 25, 2020 due to severe lung disease complicated by Covid 19. He was a resident of Cleburne County all of his life and lived at the same residence for 45 years.
Bo was the son of Elbert Eli Monroe Williams and Myrtle Bell Jenkins Williams of Fruithurst AL. Travis went to work at Darsey's MFC at age 16 and worked almost everyday of his life until lung disease forced him to retire in February 2019 from Stoffel Seals/Tyden Brooks of Tallapoosa GA. He had worked in the same building for two different companies for over 45 years. Travis was a playful and kind hearted man but also industrious, dilligent, steadfast and changeable. Bo loved and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and was a very respected man.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clint Alewine,Rev. Grover Robinson, and Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family request mask to be worn by everyone to protect one another.
