Obituary for Tommie Lou Angel

Anniston - Tommie Lou Angel, 79, died Monday, January 20, 2020 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Iron City Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Logan and Archie Waites, officiating. Burial will follow in Iron City Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Donna Angel(Ricky) Hammett, Anniston, AL
Sister - Bettye Steen, Heflin, AL
Brother - David Norton, Heflin, AL
Grandchildren - Shane Hammond & Scarlett Hammett
Great Grandchildren - Remington Yancy & Kolby Hammond
Pallbearers will be: Shane Hammond, Ricky Hammett, Dan Norton, and Brandon McCracken.
Mrs. Angel was a lifelong native of Anniston, AL., and was a retired legal secretary. Tommie Lou was also a model for Macy's Modeling Agency in Anniston, Al. She enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg and the Grand Ole Opry. Mrs. Angel loved going to church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Tommie Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell and Gertrude Norton, husband, Donald Leslie Angel, three daughters, Cindy, Teresa and Susan Angel, and a brother, Jack Norton.
The family will have a memorial service at Tara Plantation, 209 Angel Rd. Anniston, AL. Due to cold weather, if you had rather go to Tara Plantation than the graveside service please feel free do so.
