Heflin - Rose Ann Thompson, 75, died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Burgess Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Cane Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Husband - James Hulett Thompson, Heflin, AL
Son - Brent(Angie) Thompson
Sister - Helen Arlene Goetz
Grand Child - Kaitlyn(Dustin) Pruitt
Grand Child - Brooklyn(Sam) Young
Pallbearers will be, Gary Cheatwood, Glenn Thompson, Jerome Thompson, Donnie Lewis, Dustin Pruitt, and Sam Young.
Mrs. Rose was a native of Chocolocco and a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was married to her husband, James Hulett Thompson for 54 years. She was a member of Edwardsville Baptist Church and was employed at BecWaynes grocery store.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Pearl Storey; Sister, Dorothy Carden; Brothers, James Storey, Donald Storey, and John Storey; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Heflin Baptist Church.
The family would also like to thank Cleburne County Nursing Home and Encompass Hospice.
