Heflin - Ronald Dale Parris, 61, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Greens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 29, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Wife - Deby Parris
Son - Lynn Parris
Grand Children - Layla Parris and Lexi Parris
Sister - Margaret Butler
Brothers - John Parris and Donald Parris
Pallbearers will be:
Jason Wilbanks, Darren Hammond, Keith, Ken, Kyle and Kaleb Yancy.
Ronald was a quiet, humble, strong man who absolutely loved his friends, family, and his work - driving trucks. He especially enjoyed spending time with his son and two granddaughters. Among his other loves was rabbit hunting with his brothers, quail hunting with his wife, riding on the river on his pontoon, and working in his garden.
Ronald also leaves behind his sidekick, Buddy, who followed his every step.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Arthur Parris, and siblings Lewis, Louise, Harold, and Maudie.
There are no words to express the gratitude the family has for the expertise and compassion shown to us by Dr. Sudhan Nagarajan, M.D. and the entire staff in the SICU unit at Gadsden Medical Center.
