Fruithurst - Ricky "Smurf" Kemp, 68, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sonny Martin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ricky "Smurf" was a native to Georgia but spent most of his life in Cleburne County. He was always on the move. He loved Harley Motorcycles and Ford Mustangs. He was known for his spur of the moment road trips and his ability to fix anything. His most valued treasures were his grandkids. He was a great story teller and a jokester too. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
