Regina Kay Whatley, 49 passed in her sleep on February 10, 2022. Her husband Eddie Bryant Whatley and sister Rebecca Sprayberry Sauls were by her side when she went to the lord. She was born to Patricia Jean Farmer and Charles Wayne Sprayberry in Georgia. Regina was a lifelong resident of Talladega County Alabama, residing in Heflin and Lincoln most of her life.

Not enough can be said about beloved Regina. She was a kind hearted beautiful soul, loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. Forever bound to nature she loved all living things. She devoted her life to helping animals, rescuing and mending the injured. Whether is was a broken wing or abandoned kitten. She never met a stranger and was fond of the woods and the water, spending most of her time near lake Logan Martin. Her creative spirit inspired her arts and crafts. Spending her time in the kitchen making chicken and dumplings, her signature dish to fill a family with warmth and love was one of her many ways of showing her love.

Regina is survived by her husband Eddie Bryant Whatley, Mother Patricia Jean Farmer; daughters, Christine Rollo Allen and Cara Rollo Torres, grandchildren Vincent J Allen III and Annabelle Lee Allen. Also survived by brother Will Willis and sister Rebecca Sprayberry Sauls. She was preceded in death by her dear father Charles Wayne Sprayberry.

Funeral arrangement are being handled by Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin, Alabama. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The funeral will be held on Saturday February 12th at 2:00 pm.The burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Heflin.
