Heflin - Rebecca Laverne Giles, 91, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grover Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Cane Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Laverne was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of Edwardsville Baptist Church. Laverne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Laverne was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Giles, parents, Albert and Nancy Jane Owen, brother, Freeman Owen, and sisters, Lovella Bragg, Estelle Burford, and Ruth Flowers.
