I am A Sacred Harp singer from England and a good friend of Winfred Kerr, Mark's grandfather. I enjoyed many wonderful long conversations with Mark and looked forward to seeing him when he came to visit and stay at Winfred's home. I will miss him.
I hope heaven for him is a wild and open place with animals and birds all around.
My thoughts and prayers are with Winfred and all the family at this deeply sad time. May they find comfort in the words of one of our songs: "No sickness there, no want or pain, Shall e'er disturb our rest again, When with Immanuel we reign, For ever blest."
With love and prayers from Rebecca Over.
