Delta - Myrtle Addis Barnwell, 87, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Chulafinnee Baptist with the Rev. Philip Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Chulafinnee Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. at Dryden Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Noell, Patrick McCary, Joe Hall, Eric Rester, Dawson Clendenning and Gathryn Pritchett.
Mrs. Barnwell was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of Chulafinnee Baptist Church. She went to school in Hollis where she was part of the first group of cheerleaders. Myrtle loved dogs, birds, flowers, fishing and shopping at Wal Mart. She was preceded in death by her parents,Dannell and Gertrude Phillips; husband, James Barnwell; son, Michael Barnwell; and granddaughter, Misty Nicole Barnwell.
