Haywood
Weaver - McAuthur Haywood, 74, died Friday, January 3, 2020 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Amanda(Stuart) McCormack, Alexandria, AL
Daughter - ShaRay(Phillip) Gay, Heflin, AL
Son - William Haywood, Weaver, AL
Sister - Venda(Jimmy) Smith, Heflin, AL
Brother-in-law - Virgil(Jari) Barnett, Lineville, AL
Grandchildren - 13
Numerous Great Grandchildren
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Haywood was a native of Alabama and proudly served his country during Vietnam War. He retired from the Anniston Army Depot. McAuthur was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Bobbie Haywood, son Nicholas Haywood, and brother Jerry Haywood.
