Heflin - Larry Lester Turner of Heflin passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 8, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He (Pawpaw Larry) is survived by his most prized possessions three beautiful granddaughters, Madilyn Belle Turner, Presley Belle Waites and Lillian Grace Waites (Lily).His son Brady Turner and wife Cindy L. Turner of Jacksonville, Alabama. His daughter Crystal T. Waites and husband Cole Waites of Talladega, Alabama. Sister Cathey Turner Howle and her husband Tommy Howle of Munford,Alabama.
Larry was proceeded in death by his parents Howard and Retha Turner, brother Curtis Turner and sister Barbara Marcum.
Pallbearers will be: Andy Turner, Cole Waites, Tommy Austin, Lee Clark, Ronnie Preston, and Darrell Durham.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Ronnie Preston Sr., Ricky Prichard, Tommy Howle, and Kenneth Barker.
