Heflin - Larry Eugene Smith, 75, died Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his residence.
A private service will be held for Mr. Smith. Burial will follow in Lower Cane Creek Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Wife - Peggy Smith, Heflin, AL
Daughter - Amanda(Terry) Willingham, Heflin, AL
Daughter - Andrea(James) Wilson, Heflin, AL
Son - Mark(Sandy) Smith, Brantley, AL
Grandchildren - Ashton Willingham, Jesse Willingham, Madison Skinner, Aaden Tucker, Jenna Wilson, Kyle Carnley & Corey Latham
Great Grandchildren - Adalida & Raylon Latham
Fur Baby - Elvis
Larry was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God, and a retired United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam. Larry retired from L.E. Bell Construction Company. Larry spent the last 55 years with the love of his wife, Peggy. He was loving father and Pop, and had a love for tractors and watching his grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Margie Edwards, Mary Barber, and brother, Wayne Smith.
