Heflin - Kent Howard Bogguss, 69, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Wife - Carolyn Bogguss
Daughter - Alisha B. Merritt
Grandson - Levi Merritt
Step Child - Lisa(Dwayne) Wiggins
Step Child - Shannon(Andi) Grant
Step Grandchildren - Dylan & Chase Wiggins,Tyler. Sydnee, & Logan Grant
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Wiggins, Dylan Wiggins, Dalton Wiggins, aTyler Grant, Lt. Glenn Hensley, and Sergent Wes Phillips.
Kent was a retired Corrections Officer for the Douglas County Sheriffs Office and owner of Kent's Formal Wear in Florida. He loved music, loved to DJ Weddings, play the guitar, sing and DJ at the Fairfield Country Club. He was a huge Alabama Fan and a sports fanatic. He loved his grandkids. Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bernice Bogguss.
