Winston - Joseph Earl Parker, Sr. 87, died Sunday, April 4, 2021 at His Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Young officiating. Burial will follow in Lecta Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter - Teresa(William) Hudson, Winston, GA
Daughter - Darcy L.(Charles) Steele, Marietta, GA
Son - Joseph E.(Lisa) Parker, Jr., Dallas, GA
Son - James F.(Jana) Parker, Mableton, GA
Grandchildren - 12
Great Grandchildren - 12
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Parker was a native of Florida and retired to Cleburne County after serving 27 years in the Navy and Air Force. He was married to Nellie Parker for almost 50 years. Mr. Parker could build or fix anything and was a character. He loved and was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His grandchildren called him either, Grandaddy or "Dang" which was a term of endearment. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jani Parker, wife, Nellie Parker, and 5 siblings.
