Trickum Valley - Johnny Ray Wise, 81, died Saturday, May 7, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Wise Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Cone officiating. Burial will follow in Cleburne Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Wise Chapel United Methodist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter - Stephanie Kirby
Grandchild - Maggie Rae Smith
Sister - Lorene Welch
Sister - Delane McElroy
Sister-in-law - Doris(Kerry) Poland
Pallbearers will be: Craig Walker, Leland Walker, Mason Wessinger, Justin Lovvorn, Tim Gossage, Steve Toney, Jared Kirby, and Bryon Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Leon Daniell, Jimmy Daniel, Jimmy Ray Vinson, Johnny White, Peter Neall, Gerald Robinson, and Wendell McDaniel.
Mr. Wise was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County with the exception of 4 years he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Johnny was a member of Wise Chapel United Methodist Church. Johnny retired from Alabama Power. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerrie and Edna Wise, sister, Geraldine Walker, brother in laws, L.C. Walker, Jack Welch, Jerry Wayne McElroy, Erle Maner, and Sanford Maner.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Wise Chapel Church Special Fund or Feeding Cleburne.
