Muscadine - Johnny Roger Clay Whetstine, 25, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Higgins General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM CST on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Ginn. officiating. Burial will follow in Muscadine Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM CST until 7:00 PM CST. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Roger was a graduate of Cleburne County High School Class of 2015 and a graduate of Gadsden State as a Medical Tech. He was employed by Cleburne County Nursing Home as a Med Tech & CNA. Roger loved working with his residents and was very outgoing person that was always the life of the party. He enjoyed cooking and making tik toks and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter & Elaine Hall, Kenneth Whetstine and sister, Torie Gonzales.
