Weaver - John James Slowik, 76, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Regional Medical Center.
Private services will be held by the family. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

John was a native of Calhoun County and resident of Cleburne County for 15 years. John graduated form Ohatchee High School in 1962. He was a member of Golden Springs Baptist Church, sang in the choir, loved playing the keyboard. John loved telling jokes. John retired after 50 years as an electrician. He was a member of IBEW Local 136, Birmingham. John was preceded in death by his parents, John James, Sr. and Gwendolyn Slowik, three sisters, Sylvia, Rosemary, and Gwendolyn.
