Heflin - John Franklin Bain, 84, died Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jacob Bain and Rev. Donald Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in Pinetucky Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

John was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and graduated from Cleburne County High School Class of 1957. John retired from Lamar Mfg. Co after 40 years of service and was a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church since 1952.
He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. John was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Nellie Bain, siblings, Clara Hurst, Horace Bain, Lena Boyd, Charlie Bain, Claudette Johnson, and Janice Ayres, and great grandchild, Asa Mendes.
