Janice Marie Owen Bain
September 4, 1943 - January 28, 2022
Janice Owen Bain was born September 4, 1943 to Thomas Lee Owen and Lema Bell Ferguson in Cleburne County, AL. She grew up in the Fruithurst/Muscadine area of Cleburne County, AL.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Ray Bain, her son William "Willie" Charles Bain, her parents, Thomas and Lema Owen, brothers Robert and Michael Owen, and sister Barbara Key.
Janice leaves behind two daughters Donna Nelson and Krista (Efrain) Partida, and a son Jimmy Bain, her sister Claudene Nobley, two brothers Robert and Ralph Owen. She had 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Janice loved spending time in her flower garden; feeding birds, putting together 1000 piece puzzles, and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and learn.
Please join us in celebration of life as we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Visitation will be Monday, January 31 from 1:00pm to 2;00pm at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin, AL. The service will follow visitation at 2:00pm also at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Pinetucky Cemetery. There will be no graveside service. Dr. Roland Brown will officiate.
Pallbearers will include: Dylan Brown, Seth Elkins, Joseph Partida, Steven Tyler Pilkington, Joshua Bain, Jacob Bain, and Jonathan Bain.
