Jim was a graduate of Cleburne County High School. He attended Auburn University before marrying and joining the United States Army where he served as Second Lieutenant in Germany. Jim worked in sales at Napa Auto Parts for many years before retiring back to his hometown of Heflin, Alabama. Mr. Morris was an active member of Heflin First United Methodist Church as well as The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce. He was passionate fan of Braves Baseball and Auburn Football. But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family who love him and will miss him dearly. Special thanks to Piedmont Health Care and Rehab for the wonderful care and compassion they have provided.
