Obituary for Jack Eugene Fendley

Fruithurst - Jack Eugene Fendley, 79, died Thursday, February 18, 2021 at His Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Williams, Rev. Ronnie Day, and Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin City Cemetery. There will be no public visitation due to Covid-19. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

1 - Step-Son
Brother - James Fendley
10 - Grandchildren
13 - Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Skinner, J.J. Goodwin, Brandon Maria, Matt Brand, J.T. McCraw, and Ricky Bell.
Jack was a retired truck driver with 46 years service also known for his various welding jobs. He served as a Sheriff Deputy in two Alabama counties. Jack was a small plane pilot. Jack was saved on Easter Sunday in 1981 in Mobile, Alabama at J.W. Bailey's Church. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Bertha Fendley, one brother, two sisters, wife of 42 years, Marjorie Fendley, and grandson.
