Heflin - Horace McMahan, 83, died Monday, October 5, 2020 at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 9, 2020, at Ai Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Ai Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. at Ai Baptist Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Jennifer Prestridge
Son - Jerry(Amanda) McMahan
Grandchildren - Kylee, Kaylee, Kinslee, & Jackson Prestridge & Gracie Barnes
Pallbearers will be: Mark Ledbetter, Cody Ledbetter, Joe Mullins, Billy Joe Daniel, Jamie Daniel, Dewayne Thompson, and David Prestridge.
Mr. McMahan was a native and life long resident of Cleburne where is was a farmer and pulpwooder. He love to spend time with his grandchildren. Mr. McMahan was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jo Ivey, parents, Roy and Nettie McMahan, sisters, Margie and Melba McMahan and granddaughter, Dorothy Elizabeth Prestridge.
