Obituary for Fredy Frank Nolen

Heflin - Fredy Frank Nolen, 65, died Monday, March 12th, 2023 at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1 pm with visitation one hour prior to services at 12 pm at the Dryden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. JW Daniel will be officiating the services. Burial will follow in Hurricane Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Roho Carlise, Barry Nolen, Joe Nolen, Robert Nolen, Clint Alewine, Heath Nolen, Tyrus Morgan, & Justin Nolen.

Honorary Pallbearers will be former members of the Redneck Hunting Club, former coworkers & friends from Gold Kist/Pilgrims Pride, Snake Whitley, Kelly Victorino, and Sam Smith.

Survivors include:

Son - Patrick (Jamie Stiles) Nolen
Granddaughters - Moleigh Nolen, CJ Nolen, and Brooklyn Nolen
Grandson - Miles Nolen

Brothers - Jack Nolen & Roger (Pat) Nolen
Sister in laws - Dona (Tyrus) Morgan, Elaine Breed & Judy Nolen
Many Nieces & Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews, & great great Nieces & Nephews

Fred, as most knew him, was raised in Hightower Alabama then moved and raised a his family in Arbacoochee. Over the years, Fred has raised some of the best coon dogs in South and was an avid Deer and Turkey hunter. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his Grandkids and pups over the recent years during retirement and after the passing of Janet.

Fred is proceeded in death by his wife, Janet Breed Nolen, parents, Robert Arter & Maybell Clark Nolen, brothers, James & Rudie Nolen, and Brother In Laws, Pete Alewine, Jimmy, Donnie & Kenneth Breed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations be made to Dryden Funeral Home for the funeral expenses.
