Fruithurst - Ervin Cheatwood Jr., 79, died Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Tanner Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Doak Dingler officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Brother - Roy Gene(Tobatha) Cheatwood, Fruithurst, AL
Brother - Larry Cheatwood, Fruithurst, AL

Several nieces and nephews
Ervin was a graduate of Cleburne County High School Class of 1961. After graduating, Ervin joined the United States Army, where he spent the next 35 years serving his country. Ervin retired and spent his retirement in Phenix City, Alabama. Ervin is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Cheatwood, daughter, Pamela Susane Cheatwood, brother, Kerry Cheatwood, sister in law, Geraldine Cheatwood, and parents, Ervin and Mildred Cheatwood.
