Anniston - Elsie Nichols, 84, died Monday, July 27, 2020 at Autumn Cove.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eric Snider officiating. Burial will follow in Iron City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Peggy Henderson, Marbury, AL
Son - Ronald(Susan) Nichols, Anniston, AL
Grandchildren - Ashlyn Grasser, Matthew Nichols, Hugh Brothers & Allen Brothers
Great Grandchildren - 5
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Nichols was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of White Plains Baptist Church. She loved reading the Bible, going to church and working in her garden. Ms. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Nichols, parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Ward, and son, Eddie Nichols.
