Heflin - Dava Nell Hartley, 80, died Saturday, January 4, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Sonny Martin and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Dryden Funeral Home. .

Daughter - Marie(Larry) Dobbs, Ranburne, AL
Son - Fredrick Randy (Ally) Wood, Wedowee, AL
Son - James Roy (Penni) Hartley, Ranburne, AL
Daughter-in-law - Denise Hartley, Heflin, AL

Tommy Whitton, Roger Wood, Jeff Wood, Baily McCormick and Austin Wright.
Mrs. Hartley was a native of Limestone County and a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Dava was a homemaker and loving caregiver to her late husband and family. She enjoyed reading and listening to Southern Gospel music.
Mrs. Hartley was Preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Hartley; parents, Willie and Mary Sledge; daughters, Arlena Hartley and Inez Royal; son, William Hartley and siblings, Buddy Sledge, Willie Mae Wood and Eva Hooper.
