Obituary for Corban Clay Stephens

Delta - Corban Clay Stephens, 83, died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marc Curlee officiating. Burial will follow in Abel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Corban Stephens was in the Army for 2 1/2 years in Germany as a Corpsman helping with the wounded. He drove the Ambulance to pick up the injured. Also helped Doctors with kidneys in the field hospital.
After getting out of the Army, he helped build Kenneth Stone Hospital and afterward worked in the operating room.
After that he landed a job as a Meat Manager position.
Then he got a promotion and became a Regional Manager and had several stores.
He became Ill and came down with leukemia and he almost died. The one day the Spirit of the Lord came into his room and said, you are healed.
And he was the longest living survivor ever recorded at that time.
For Forty Years he was in Great shape until now when Covid hit him while in the hospital for a pacemaker.
