Clara was a native of Cleburne County and a resident for most of her life. We are so thankful to her late Grandfather Cochran and Aunt Gladys McElroy for raising her into the person we all knew her to be. Clara was a caring and compassionate mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend, but most of all a Christian that was truly loved by so many. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Ranburne. She was a hard worker, something that she passed down to her children and family. She retired after 30 years as a supervisor at Crown Tuff. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching college football, Braves baseball, and game shows.
Clara was preceded in death by her sons Jimmy and Donnie Breed, daughter Janet Nolen, and sister Mildred Howell.
We would like to sincerely thank the Cleburne County Nursing Home and Kindred Hospice for their love and care for our mother. Also, a special thank you to Morgan Geier, Laci Buga, and Selena Gordon.
