Ranburne - Betty Jean Herren, 80, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Tanner Medical Center.
Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will have a private burial at Macedonia Cemetery with the Rev. Morgan Bailey officiating.

Son - Stephen(Martha) Herren, Ranburne, AL
Grandchildren - Brooklyn(Chase) Whitley
Grandchildren - Bryan(Annie) Herren, Huntsville, AL
Great Grandchild-Clete Coleman Whitley
Great Grandchild-Cayden Elise Whitley
Brother - Charles(Marjorie) Middlebrooks
Betty was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County and retired from Cleburne County Transportation Department. She was a cook for many years in cafe's and she would cook for people from her home. Betty Jean also mowed and trimmed many yards for many people. She was Church Secretary for 40 years at Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, mother in law, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Herren and her parents, Bryan and Susie Middlebrooks.
