Heflin - Audie Vernon Hyatt, 68, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at Tanner Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2020, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Jackson and Rev. Bill Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in Happy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Daughter - Audrea(Mark) Hilburn
Daughter - Loni(Chad) Austin
Grandchildren - Cori Faith Austin, Kyree Hana Hilburn, & Carlee Elizabeth Austin
Parents - Vernon and Frances Hyatt
Sister - Deretha(Donnie) Eason
Pallbearers will be: Chad Austin, Clint Austin, Donnie Eason, Larry Hyatt, Mark Hilburn, Ryan Morgan and Ricky Prichard.
Audie was a life long resident of Heflin, Alabama. Audie served Happy Hill Baptist Church as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He retired from Defense Logistics Agency of Anniston Army Depot in 2007 after 31 years of service. Audie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who devoted his life to faith and family. He was known by his grandchildren as Grumpy "Grump" Grandy.
