Heflin - Wendell W. Spruell, 71, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at His Residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Crumley's Chapel Church of God with the Rev. W.H. Ford, Rev. Tommy Ledbetter, and Rev. Kyle Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Crumley's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. at Crumley's Chapel Church of God. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Son - Michael(Loisann) Fordham, Heflin, AL
Sister - Becky(Dwight) Brown, Wedowee, AL
Brother - Byron(Rosie) Spruell, Bowdon, AL

Mr. Spruell was a native of Georgia and a resident of Cleburne County for over 40 years. Wendell was a member of Crumley's Chapel Church of God. He was a truck driver for most of his career and an owner operator and loved his job. He enjoyed fishing and most of all loved his family, especially his wife, Owedia. Mr. Spruell was preceded in death by his parents,Robert and Willie Spruell, daughter, Rená Parker, and son, Rodney Fordham.
