Carrollton - Margaret Inez Willis, 84, died Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Tanner Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Vaughn, Jr. and the Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Willis is survived by her daughter, Donna (Gene) Boutwell; son, Jimmy (Beth) Vaughn; and Sister - Linda (Paul) Williams; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Ms. Willis was a native of Alabama, and a resident of Georgia for the past fifty-four years. She was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company after twenty-seven years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was well loved and well known.
Pallbearers will be Robert Vaughn, Jr., Rodney Lewis, Elliah Lewis, Ricky Caldwell, David Vaughn, and Ryan Owens.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, a brother, and her son, Robert Lee Vaughn, Sr.
