Heflin - Dorothy Jo Clark, 76, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Stringfellow Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Roland Brown, officiating. Burial will follow in Heflin Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy was a native of Opp Al and resident of Heflin Al. Dorothy was a retired Colonel in the Women's Army Corp. Dorothy's military assignments included: 2nd Surgical Hospital, Vietnam, Kagnew Station, Asmara Ethopia and 7th Medical Command Headquaters, Heidelberg, Germany, Letterman Army Hospital Center, San Francisco, CA, Fox Army Hospital, Redstone Arsenal, Al, Noble Army Hospital, FT McCellan, Al, Madigan Army Medical Center, FT Lewis, WA, 47th Combat Support Hospital, FT Lewis, WA, Academy of Health Services, FT Sam Houston, TX, Chief Nurse, FT Sill, OK and Chief Nursing Assignment Branch, Personnel Command, Alexandria, VA.
