Glasgow
- William Alexander (Billy) Glasgow, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at his residence. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Pete Frames, Wallace Higgins, Randy Morris, and John Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Glasgow of Heflin, two sons, Tiras Glasgow (Laura), and Tommy Glasgow (Leslie) of Heflin, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Earl Glasgow(Rachel) of Snellville, GA, three sisters, Lucile Adams (Jerry) of Dothan, AL, Pat Tiller (Charles) of Dacula GA and Jane Beam of Heflin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lonnie Glasgow.
Billy retired with 41 years of service at U.S. Gypsum. He was an ordained Deacon, a Baptist by faith and a faithful servant to his Savior, family and church.
