Robert Louis Bentley, born August 26, 1938 and a life-long native of Cleburne County, Alabama lost his battle with cancer and passed on February 5, 2016 at 77 years of age. Robert was a member of Ai Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Nannie Bentley, 2 sons, Ricky Bentley and Rex Bentley, and 1 daughter, Tammy Larsen. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-children, all from Cleburne County. Robert loved all his family and the many, many friends he knew throughout Cleburne County. He also served his country in the National Guard and had a long 26 year career with Dixie Steel. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and chewing his tobacco. Robert was well known also as an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. ROLL TIDE!

Visitation will be Monday February 8, 2016 from 12 until 2. Funeral service at 2 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel.
