Ranburne - Ben Colen Harris, 80, died Sunday, June 28, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 01, 2015, at Crumley's Chapel with the Rev. Couch Whitley,Rev. Jeremy Harris,Rev. Neal Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Crumley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crumley's Chapel Church. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jason Langley,Benji Langley,Scott Stinson,Caleb Stinson,Jon Jacobs and Danny Harris will serve as pallbearers.
Ben was a member of Ranburne High School class of 1953. He was plant manger at SMD and worked in sales at Southwire for 42 years. Mr. Harris was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 652 in Ranburne. Ben was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed goimg to games with his grandsons. He also enjoyed playing rook and rabbit hunting.Ben loved to work in his garden and share with his communtiy. He enjoyed beach vacations and spending time with his family. Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents Johnny and Emma Harris, one brother; Virgil Harris, and three sisters; Estoria McElroy, Myrtle Rollins and Emma Jean Harris.
