Heflin - Maurine M. Brown, 98, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Don Carroll, Rev. Ray Clevenger and Rev. W.E. Jones, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lecta Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Grandchildren and GreatGrandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She retired from Belk Hudson Department Store in Anniston after 37 years. Mrs. Brown then began working at the Cleburne County Nursing Home where she would retire again after 17 years in the Activity Department. She credited her longevity to her Christian Life.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents Noah Andrew Moore and Dussie Lou White Moore and a son, William Brown.
