Heflin - Archie Dee Parker, 80, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at his daughter's residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 24, 2014, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Buford Gaines,, officiating. Burial will follow in Edwardsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Parker was a native and life long resident of Cleburne County, he was a member of Abel Baptist Church,as well as Caldwell Masonic Lodge #502 and the former Mayor of Edwardsville. Archie was an ordained Minister who pastored several churches over the past 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelvy Jean Parker, daughter Wanda Jean Smith, parents Oscar and Louetta Parker and great nieces, Regina Dingler and Melinda Kilgore.
