Heflin - Katie Mae Turner, 91, died Monday, August 25, 2014 at Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Morris and Rev. James Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Roger Phillips, Nathan Phillips, Josh Turner,
Dustin Turner, Landon Taylor Mcelroy, Greg White, Christopher Allen Cheatwood, and Baydon Sullivan White.
. Mrs Turner was a lifelong resident of Cleburne County. She was a member of Verdons Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner was a great singer and an excellent seamstress who also loved to garden. She loved God and life and her life was her grandchildren.
