Heflin - Leroy Nolen, 83, died Wednesday, July 09, 2014 at Cleburne Co. Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Old Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. James Benefield and Rev. Chris Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 11, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Dryden Funeral Home.
Survivors: Daughter - Wanda Dean, Heflin, AL, Son - Donnie (Shelby) Nolen, Heflin, AL, Grand Children - Brittany Dean and Brandy Nolen Truett and one Great Grand Child - Nolen Truett.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Nolen was a native and life long resident of Cleburne County and retired self-employed owner of Nolen's Grocery in the Bell's Mill Community. He was a member of Old Hopewell Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
